I just read today that 1 in 9 Americans are using Federal Food Stamps to buy groceries. It’s no secret that times are tough for everyone right now. We’re all looking for ways to save money and sometimes the only place we have any control is on the grocery bill.
While I was getting my economy induced gray hairs artfully erased from my delicate dome last week, I came across this recipe in Family Circle Magazine. (When you start going gray you must start reading Family Circle. It’s written somewhere, I’m sure of it.)
On Saturday night, I made my very first Pot Roast. I know, I know. How could I have never made a Pot Roast before? Well, to be honest, when you’re searching for “Food with Attitude” Pot Roast just doesn’t jump to the top of the list. And, to be really honest, it probably won’t be on my list of “have to haves” any time soon. In my opinion, pretty boring.
