Gourmet Food Trucks Weekend @ Laurita Winery

The Laurita Winery in New Egypt hosts the Gourmet Food Trucks Weekend. Visitors can indulge in food from 30 different food trucks from ice cream to lobster. There will also be a line dance pavilion, a wine tasting tent and fireworks on Saturday night. Fairway’s Firefighters Food Face-Off @ Fairway Market

New Jersey’s bravest compete in Fairway’s Firefighters Food Face-Off, a grilling “throw down” that will pit firefighters from Woodland Park (aka West Paterson), Wayne and Hawthorne against one another to determine whose barbecue is best. A panel of judges, which includes Keith Kazmark, Mayor of Woodland Park; Diane Lilli, founder of the Jersey Tomato Press; Rebecca Martin, Fairway Market’s Director of Catering; and Jersey Bites’ own Terry Krongold (also founder of The Cook’s Tour); will determine the winner by sampling burgers, ribs, and chicken. Event begins at 12 p.m. and will also include music, face painting, giveaways and free food for the public – a great family day! Rain or shine. Fairway Market, 1510 US 46 West, Woodland Park.

Heritage Dinner – A Century of Food and Farming @ Fosterfields Living Historical Farm

 Friends of Fosterfields are hosting an event perfect for the locally grown food lover. Their Heritage Dinner – A Century of Food and Farming will present guests with a five-course dinner based on late 19th century and early 20th century menus.
