Our buddies at MarxFoods.com are back with these lovely eco friendly, elegant and easy Palm Leaf Plates. An environmentally friendly alternative to disposable paper or plastic plates, Palm Leaf Plates are made from naturally shed palm leaves, biodegradable, yet tough, and each has a unique wood pattern. Round dinner plates, rectangular dinner plates, and hexagonal dinner plates are available in addition to bowls, picnic sets, and matching wood utensils.
The winner of this week’s giveaway will win 25 Round Palm Leaf Plates just in time for an elegant summer soiree. This week we’re making entries super simple. Just leave a comment and tell me where the party is, only kidding. (But seriously I’m up for invitations.) No really, just leave a comment if you’d like to win this elegant, earth friendly dinner ware from Marxfoods.com.
Be sure to leave your contact email in your entry if your profile doesn’t include one or I will have to pick another number.
You can also gain an extra entry by Tweeting or Blogging about this Giveaway. You must come back and leave a comment and link to your tweet or blog post to be counted.
Deadline for entries is Tuesday, June 2nd at 11:59pm. Winners will be chosen with the help of Random.org.
Let’s see – summer parties include ComFest in Columbus OH, Tie Dye Fest in Marysville OH, and Labor Day campout. These plates would be a hit at any and all of our summer plans!
I love this site. I have tried many of the recipes and have loved them. I enjoy the wit and humor as well. I would love to win the plates. Keep up the good work
Would LOVE to try this, looks like a GREAT idea– maybe even recommend it to the summer camp where i volunteer. i also RT-ed this on twitter.com/cherokeesita
Wow Deb, these are so beautiful. I have never heard of them before, but even if I don’t win, I am going to be trying to find them here! What a great idea!
Elegant meets eco-friendly?! Sign me up. These would be a perfect pairing to any summer party. I’m thinking they would be great for our 4th of July bash — or for my friends upcoming beach wedding.
The get together will be at the lake–at a family weekend– grilling hamburgers, chicken, steak, etc…with salads, veggies, chips, and so on— always plenty of food!!
I love the idea of biodegradeable. I have become so earth friendly in so many ways lately. It’s the only way to go these days. Party??….planning a July 4th outting at the in-laws. See you there!
How attractive are they? Not the typical paper plate look. They’d look great on my table accompanied by some fresh from the garden grilled veggies. C’mon over.

Father’s Day lunch or Fourth of July picnic are the next up-coming get togethers. I would get a lot of use from these.
Would love to win these – very good looking eco-friendly product.
Awesome! What a great alternative to paper plates made from thousand year old redwoods. Thanks so much for the recommendation!
