We’re back folks. Sorry for the lost Win it Wednesday last week. We had some minor technical difficulties, but we’re back in the Win It Wednesday saddle again.
This week our sponsor is Red Ape Cinnamon™. Enter to win this fabulous cinnamon today!!
Red Ape Cinnamon™ is sustainably harvested in Indonesia from Cassia Cinnamon trees that are at least 20 years old. The Volatile Oil (V.O.) content is much higher in older trees resulting in a higher quality cinnamon.
You will notice that Red Ape Cinnamon™ is a lighter reddish brown color than the darker cinnamon you are accustomed to seeing. Only the pure inner cinnamon bark is ground and the extra outer bark that would normally dilute the final powder is disposed of. It is because of this grinding process that our cinnamon delivers a more intense cinnamon flavor experience.
5% of profits from sales of Red Ape Cinnamon are donated to programs dedicated to the protection and restoration of orangutan (a.k.a. The Red Ape) habitat in Indonesia.
To enter to win just leave a comment and tell us how you will use this special spicy prize. Be sure to leave your contact email in your entry if your profile doesn’t include one or I will have to pick another number.
You can also gain an extra entry by Tweeting or Blogging about this Giveaway. You must come back and leave a comment and link to your tweet or blog post to be counted.
Deadline for entries is Tuesday, April 7th at 11:59pm. Winners will be chosen with the help of Random.org.

Ooooh, I LOVE cinnamon! With such a special cinnamon, I’d have to make cinnamon apple cake so that the fabulous flavor would truly shine through!
I would make Turkish pilaf with rice, pinenuts, currants and cinnamon…then I would stuff peppers and zucchini, and even grape leaves, with the pilaf. Yum!

I’d love to use this to make cinnamon apples, but I’d also make some cinnamon bread…mmmmm.

I love to put cinnamon in my oatmeal, on applesauce, and in baking, so that’s what I’d use this for.
I just read somewhere that cinnamon is good for diabetics. I would use it on baked apples, in pancakes and waffles, and many other dishes. Thanks for the opportunities.

First thing I would use this on is homeade cinnamon apple sauce. Then I would make some Cinnamon sticks with icing dipping sauce. Then maybe some plain ol cinnamon toast. Maybe I would even make a “throw together” (invent a new recipe—well new to me without using a recipe) and see what I can come up with.

Wow, great giveaway. I’d use it on top of my Rice Pudding, in the French Toast I make for my sons, and in my baking, which I do a LOT of.
I like to make curries with cinnamon – yummy!

May Canadians enter? I like to put cinnamon on my oatmeal, but I think this might be a good excuse to make cinnamon buns.
I would make cinnamon pancakes with toasted pecans, topped with applesauce and whipped cream dusted with more cinnamon. Heavenly!!!
I add a small dash of cinnamon to my chili (courtesy of The Silver Palate cookbook’s chili recipe). I use cinnamon in a ton of other recipes, but it’s an unusual and subtle flavor enhancer in chili!
