This week’s Win It Wednesday is a good one people. I made the Creamy Basil Parmesan Chicken & Pasta last night and even my eleven year old loved it. Now that’s a miracle. He doesn’t even like Macaroni and Cheese anymore. I can’t wait to try the other meals.
This new line of dinner kits is inspired by the chefs at Romano’s Macaroni Grill and comes in four classic Italian varieties. From start to finish the meal is ready to eat in about 20 minutes.
The dinner kits include everything needed to create a meal in one box including premium ingredients such as such as vine-ripened tomatoes, select cooking wines, specialty herbs and 100% semolina pasta. All you have to do is add one pound of chicken or your choice of proteins such as shrimp or Italian sausage. Varieties of Romano’s Macaroni Grill Restaurant Favorites dinner kits include Garlic & Herb Chicken Penne, Creamy Basil
Parmesan Chicken & Pasta, Chicken Alfredo with Linguine and Chicken Marsala with Linguine.
We have a fun “What’s For Dinner” gift basket to give away this week to THREE lucky winners which includes a sample of the Creamy Basil Parmesan Chicken Pasta variety, three coupons for you to try the other varieties the next time you visit your local grocer, a colander, serving spoon and cheese grater.

I tweeted the giveaway!
part of your question didn’t appear… I’m guessing you are asking about when these meals would be ideal? Mine is baseball season also! Right now!
Considering that the last dinner I attempted to make for my fam was a floating, dry pot roast, I can use any and all help thrown my way! My struggle? Following directions. I hear boxed meals are good for that

Swimming lessons and soccer!
Making myself actually go into the kitchen and cook…would rather be outside
Opposite schedules and needing to workout before eating!
My biggest struggle with dinner is trying to find a bit more variety, even though my family seems to think there is enough…
My biggest struggle is trying to get some variety in our meals while still making things people will eat.
My biggest conflict with meals is that my Zumba class is from 5:30 till 6:30. Hubby comes home at 6 and is usually starved. Wish they would move Zumba to 4 o’clock!
Biggest dinner struggles? School and working night shift!
By far the biggest struggle for me is finding something that all three kids will eat. I have one that is a vegetarian, and two that are just so picky that it makes meal times darn near impossible!
I can never decide what to cook. Once I do, the only person I know will eat it is me!!
my biggest struggle is rice. I cannot ever get it right. It drives me nuts. amsbolda@hotmail.com
What a great giveaway! My greatest struggle is time. We have just an hour and a half from the time we get home to the time my son starts getting ready for bed. In that time, we need to make/eat dinner, my son needs a bath, and we all want to spend a little time playing together.
I blogged here – http://kat-bryanscorner.blogspot.com/2009/04/win-whats-for-dinner-gift-basket.html
Time is the biggest struggle. Without a doubt.
Time is my biggest struggle, its not on my side!
It is just the two of us so sometimes we have too much food with not enough mouths!
My biggest troubles are coming up with new ideas to keep the menu “fresh and not boring” and getting everyone home and sitting down to dinner at the same time. Seems we are never at the same place at the same time anymore!
Thanks for a great give-a-way once again!
Mary, who could really use the colander, as she just melted hers by leaving it too near the stove!

My Biggest Dinnertime Struggle is, even after 25 years, I still cannot figure out what to make for dinner! I guess it is boredom. I’m a vegetarian, Husband eats meat, daughter eats junk and no one wants to eat what I cook! I LOVE MY food and most of the time Hubby does too, but I would love for everyone to be happy 100% of the time!

The biggest struggle for our family is finding a quick, healthy, yummy meal that satisfies everyone’s tastebuds, not to mention on especially busy days where you barely have enough time to breathe you want to be able to prepare a great homemade meal!

Hey, they just closed the Macaroni Grill in Holmdel and I’m bummed. Mealtime, anytime during the week, is tough around our house. But, weekends were made for cookin’ and (especially, THIS weekend) for grillin’!!!
My biggest struggle is finding new reipes that are quick and easy to make that my whole family will like.
It’s getting home late, and not being motivated to cook .
My biggest struggle is time. I am a full-time work at home mother trying to take care of the family and home all while getting the job done and keeping the business going. My husband is a full-time student so it is also a matter of making a meal that won’t be cold and dry by the time he gets home and is ready to eat. Quick, easy, delicious, and fulfilling are keys to every dinner we make.
I thought this was so great I posted it in about 10 places lol WAHMs like myself can benefit alone from knowing these dinner kits exist, knowing there are great options for the family, and not all kits are junk food glorified. BUT I will spare everyone and only show my main blog and twitter:

Time – definitely. With a full time job and a part time job, I am always on the run!

My dinner challange?
First off, I don’t like red meat – and my husband adores it.
But even bigger is that our 1946 house in Southern California does not have air conditioning. So summer dinners you do NOT want to turn on the oven or even burners. (I have become adept at grilling, broiling, crock-potting or microwaving. Or, channeling farm women and getting up very early, to bake before the world heats up.)
Oh and I’m thrifty as well. Keeping a house cool is very easy if you are willing to pay for takeout every night. But I’m not!
Actually being home to cook dinner would be my biggest problem. Don’t even have a dog because it wouldn’t be fair to it since there’s no one actually at the house except to sleep. I was out of town last week for a meeting from Wed-Sun (last night). Got home about 11 and in bed by 12a. Back at work for 2 days this week and then off to another meeting this week Wed-Sun.
That looks SOOO Goood
