Win It Wednesday, Gourmet Cookies from Boca Dulce

I know I say this a lot, but it’s true, we’ve got a really sweet treat for this week’s giveaway. This week one lucky winner will win one of Boca Dulce’s gourmet cookie varities (winner’s choice, Woo hoo)

I was so excited to discover this New Jersey company, founded by former New York City news anchor, Denisse Oller. After years at the news desk, Denisse decided it was time to finally pursue her dream. Though some might think she was crazy for walking away from a highly coveted television career, she knew her real passion was elsewhere. Namely, the kitchen.

Oller launched Boca Dulce (Spanish for “sweet mouth”) with the intention to share the sweet tropical flavors of her Puerto Rican upbringing. The exotic flavors of guava, passion fruit, mango, and pineapple infuse traditional cookie recipes. From oatmeal cookies studded with banana and papaya to Oreo-style biscuits filled with creamy Dulce de Leche, the combination makes for a truly unique (and mouth watering!) treat. Each season brings around a new batch of delicious flavors and varieties developed exclusively for the season.

The cookies are all locally baked in New York and packaged by hand by Denisse herself, and shipped priority in a signature Boca Dulce cookie tin. They are guaranteed to arrive fresh and in great condition.

To enter to win your special choice of Boca Dulce’s Gourmet Cookies just visit Boca Dulce’s website, and tell us which cookie treat is your favorite. Be sure to leave your contact email in your entry if your profile doesn’t include one or I will have to pick another number.

This week you have three ways to earn an extra entry. Subscribe to or Follow this blog for an extra entry. You can also gain extra entries by Tweeting or Blogging about this Giveaway. You must come back and leave a second, third or fourth comment telling me so to be counted for a second, third and/or fourth entry. (If you have questions about how this works, email me at jerseybites (at) gmail.com.

Deadline for entries is Tuesday, March 21st at 11:59pm. Winners will be chosen with the help of Random.org.

Readers interested in learning more about Denisse or getting other great Latin recipes, can visit her personal site Denisse’s Table, where she shares weekly original recipes and cooking tips in both English and Spanish. http://www.denisseoller.com/ Those in the NY
area might also be interested in her Latin and Caribbean cooking classes, held monthly at the Institute of Culinary Education (see her website for details).

All these cookies varieties are new to me but I’ll say the Biscotti Tropical. If I was actually buying, I’d probably get the mixed sampler.
