Listen to Billy D, no place in central or south jersey makes a better burger than Rossi's Tavern. Its a 35-40 minute drive from our house and we take the kids at least a half dozen times a year. The chips, mushrooms and chicken tenders are outstanding also. I have been going there for 10+ years now and they are consistently great.

You are all missing the boat. Do yourselves a favor and go to Rossi's Tavern in Trenton. http://www.rossiburger.com/ I do not know what they put in it or how they cook them but they are spectacular! I love a lot of burgers but nothing comes close to a rossiburger!

Went to The Fireplace today, it was Ok. Nothing special, decent burger, overdone dried out fries. Back home in Detroit, we're got a dozen better cheap burger places.

Next up, White Manna.

Great List! White Mana is my husband's favorite. He loves those little greasy burgers.
I love the Iron Horse for the their stuffed Burgers.
The Butler Family Diner on main street in Bulter has great stuffed burgers too. They are not only tasty but very big Burgers.

Central & South Jersey, you have to try out the burgers at Kairo Kafe, not the sliders but their full adult size burger.

What about us burger lovers in South Jersey? I'm feeling a little left out, here.

IF you want a fantastic, quick, simple burger i'd recommend JD's Grill on Station Avenue in Haddon Heights (right up by the intersection of Station with WhiteHorsePike/rt30)
There's hardly any seating, cuz it used to be a tiny little chinese takeout joint, but there's a few stools at the counter, and the whole place has a fantastic Retro feel.

all the burgers are put on a freshly baked brioche from Le Bus bakery, and the fixins are fresh.
